The past couple of days have been just crazy for us.
Friday morning my wife's car died. We took it into the shop and it turns out it needs a new engine.
The car, fully repaired, is only worth $1500, and the repairs need are nearly triple that. It looks like we'll have to replace it.
Then I find out I lost my Aunt Pearl. She wasn't a real aunt, but she was a friend of the family and she was like a mother to my own Mom.
Over the weekend, my step father was admitted to the hospital with kidney stones. Man, that hurts just thinking about.
