Sometimes when we bring problems to God in prayer, his response is not the answer we expect. Rather His response is to show us that we need to change and grow our attitude toward the problem.
In Luke 12, two brothers came to Jesus. One brother wanted Jesus to command the other brother to share his inheritance with him. Jesus didn't give them the answer they were looking for. He didn't address the problem directly. Rather, he tried to show the brothers they were worrying about the wrong things and correct their attitude towards money.
